Interim version. These terms are being reviewed by legal counsel. Sections marked [under legal review] will be finalised before they are relied on commercially. If any provision here conflicts with mandatory local consumer law, that law prevails.
1. What Déligo is — and is not
Déligo is a marketplace that connects people who need something transported ("clients") with independent drivers who offer to transport it ("drivers").
We are an intermediary. We do not perform transport ourselves, we do not employ drivers, and we are not a party to the transport contract that forms between a client and a driver. Drivers are independent contractors who decide for themselves which requests to bid on and on what terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 16 to register as a client, and at least 18 to register as a driver.
- You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. Your phone number identifies your account and is verified by SMS code.
- One person, one account. You are responsible for everything done through your account.
- Drivers must additionally submit valid identity, licence and vehicle documents. We review these before a driver may accept work, but our review is a basic administrative check, not a guarantee of a driver's competence or of the accuracy of their documents.
- You must hold and maintain any licence, registration and insurance the law requires for the vehicle and the transport you undertake. That obligation is yours, not ours.
3. How a job works
- A client posts a transport request describing the items, the pickup and drop-off locations, any intermediate stops, and optionally photos.
- Nearby drivers may submit bids with a price.
- The client accepts one bid. At that moment a transport contract forms directly between the client and that driver — not with Déligo.
- The driver performs the delivery. The client can follow the driver's live position.
- The client confirms receipt, and both parties may rate each other.
4. Prices and payment
The price is the one the driver bid and the client accepted. Déligo does not process payments. Payment is settled directly between the client and the driver, outside the app, by whatever means they agree. We do not hold funds, do not act as an escrow or payment agent, and cannot reverse, refund or guarantee any payment.
Prices shown in the app are in Tunisian dinar (TND) and are inclusive of whatever the driver chose to include. Each party is responsible for its own tax obligations.
[under legal review — any Déligo commission, service fee, or in-app payment introduced in future will be described here and you will be asked to accept the revised terms before it applies.]
5. Cancellations and no-shows
Either party may cancel a booking before the items are collected. Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may lead to account restrictions under section 8.
[under legal review — cancellation windows and any cancellation fee.]
6. What you may not do
You must not use Déligo to transport or arrange transport of:
- Anything illegal to possess, sell or move
- Weapons, explosives, or hazardous, flammable or toxic materials
- Drugs or controlled substances
- Live animals or human remains
- Stolen goods, or goods you have no right to send
- Cash, or items whose value you have concealed from the driver
You must also not: harass, threaten, discriminate against or endanger another user; misrepresent your identity, vehicle or documents; manipulate ratings; scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service; use the app while driving; or circumvent the app to avoid its safety and dispute records.
7. Ratings, chat and calls
Ratings must reflect your genuine experience. Chat and in-app calls are provided so the two parties to a delivery can coordinate — not for advertising, solicitation or abuse. Chat messages are stored so both sides keep a record and so we can investigate reports; call audio is not recorded. See the Privacy Policy.
8. Suspension and termination
We may restrict, suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms, put another user at risk, or used the service fraudulently or unlawfully. Where it is practical and lawful to do so we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond, except where the breach is serious or we are legally prevented.
You may close your account at any time — see Delete your account.
9. Disputes between users
Because the transport contract is between the client and the driver, disputes about a delivery are primarily between them. You can report a problem through the app and we will review the booking record, chat history and trip data and may act under section 8. That is a platform-integrity measure — it does not make us a party to the dispute, an arbitrator, or an insurer of the outcome.
10. Liability
The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, that a request will attract bids, or that any particular user is suitable, reliable or honest.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of or damage to transported items, for the acts or omissions of any user, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or under mandatory consumer protection law.
[under legal review — any monetary cap on our liability, and its interaction with local consumer law.]
11. Insurance
Déligo does not provide goods-in-transit insurance, vehicle insurance, or personal accident cover. Drivers are responsible for holding the insurance the law requires; clients should arrange their own cover for valuable items.

12. Your content
You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, display and transmit that content solely to operate the service — for example, showing your item photos to drivers bidding on your request. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version you accepted is recorded against your account at registration. If we make a change that materially affects your rights, we will ask you to accept the new version in the app before you continue using the service.
14. Governing law
[under legal review — governing law and the forum for disputes, expected to be Tunisia.]
